This Is It Folks...
Only A Month Left In The Official Season!

Weather Notes:
Conditions Notes:
In The Groomed:
Default Groomed Smooth, however...
The likelihood is that with a drop in the temps
to well under Zero C over Mountain elevations
and potentially remaining below Zero C until
mid-day, trail characteristics are going to be
predominantly “firm”, to say the least.
Your absolute best friends are going to be sharp
edges. Your second most significant asset will be
absolute speed and directional control. Runaway
potential exists and when combined with gravity
and momentum both can work against control
inputs to the point of quickly overwhelming tractive
capability.
Generally, forgiveness may be on the low end
of the scale so any sudden changes or jerky
applications of control force may instantly
blow out. Be very, very careful, especially
around others in zones of mixed skill sharing,
trail intersections, at and just below topographical
contours.
It is the final weekend of the Ontario March Break
so it may be busy.
In the Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades And Un-Groomed:
There is a definite signal in these categories when
the Edge sector is closed on a Holiday Saturday.
With temps barely rising above the freezing mark
at elevations the overnight refroze may have enough
cold momentum to hold surfaces in a primarily
solid state with forgiveness being on the very low
end of the Sous Bois scales.

want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
( If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
