1/21/10 Conditions

Open trail count down to 89 this A.M. as there are several
runs off-line, dedicated to race activity.
SEE yesterday's reply for brief intro on NSIA trade show,
Equipment Review.
The bright sunshine that was forecast has not materialized yet,
but the conditions are still very good for all skill levels.
Nice, easy-5C Temps
The groomed surfaces are exceptional in terms of grip.
If you have tuned equipment, you can stand sideways as
you carve with complete confidence that your edge will hold.
It is so much fun to be able to rely on edges as you ride the
limits of centrifugal force, carving turns one after the other
without fear or hesitation.
We are involved with the National Snow Industries Association
Trade Show, on now at the bottom of Johannsen, so it's off to
the hill we go to collect more data on the new gear that’s
headed your way next season.
Sorry for the shortness of the report, but we are trying to collect
as much data from the trade show as we can which we will sort
through as time permits. Basically, if you look at all the good points,
conditions wise, from the reports of the last 2 weeks, it all pretty
much applies to today.

report, Courtesy of http://www.tremblant.ca
The columns after the trail name are tick boxed for 1) Open, 2) Snowmaking, 3) Groomed.
The Skiing and Boarding are excellent, and if you're not here,
you're missing a great opportunity for fresh air, exercise and
all the natural beauty of Tremblant.
