In our opinion the sous Bois and Un-Groomed are the
most sensitive, the most fragile, in terms of resilient
durability so while there is still so much available,
we’re encouraging all who thrive in authentic spring
softness and moguls to get out A.S.A.P.

4.4.25 T360 Proof Of Snow.

For those who have been following along, we have previously
mentioned that there has been an ice barrier/membrane over
our Nord/North Sous Bois sector test zones since the big
freezing rain of last week that we were not able to break
through for representative depth illustrations. That changed
yesterday and there has now been sufficient heat work down
into the Sous Bois base strata to get a sample depth reading.

For sure, it is not like this everywhere, but the fact that there
are still Sous Bois zones in April with over a metre of depth
reserve ANYWHERE... is a wonderful thing indicating near
future availability for Spring skiing fans.

Weather Notes:

O.K. to start with but we do expect the rainy segment to
commence at around noon so you’ll probably need a poncho
or other foul weather gear like Gil brand sailing wear, in order
to remain comfortable.

The most interesting portion of this forecast is the long
range outlook that shows an amazing potential for excellent
weather over the next 10 days. It may be a bit on the warm
side, but at least there’s no major rain. It is important to note
that if the elevation differential is the usual -4C over the trail
network, there could be a stabilizing daily/overnight reset to
minimize thermal loss.

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

Super smooth but very firm with icy overtones at first tracks.

Sharp well tuned edges are essential for safe control.

Morphing to soft as the morning progresses and with
the onset of rain there is the likelihood of top layer
slushy tendencies and the chance of saturation or
pooling in topographical contour depressions.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

If, when and where available... Crusty to begin with
and evolving to soft but there may be lingering solid
cores in the bumps. Innumerable wild cards of fun
or challenge.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

 If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
