The “So-Far” Conditions/Sampling Reporting...
Nord/North Duncan So-Far best technical carving traction.

Sud/South Taschereau So-Far smooth but solid and waiting for sun-softened.

The Summit is currently showing at -3C, so from this point forward
the air may warm fairly quickly, but the trails may hang on to cool
til around 1:00 P.M. It’s got excellent potential to be an extraordinarily
fine Tremblant Spring Skiing afternoon!
------------------------------
Weather Notes:
The Village temp collection station shows -5 C, the elevated
trail collection station shows -7 C, so we think that even
though warmth will creep in towards noon, there may be some
surviving chill on the Nord/North Side for pretty much the
whole day. We could be wrong if the sun goes crazy but
that would certainly make all the soft mogul fans happy!

Conditions Notes:
Generally:
Very “Firm”, at least to begin with...
There are conflicting bits of data that could make
a big difference to the day and the first is the indicated
first tracks temperature which is actually -5C.
The second is that there are rain icons on the Official
data below, but it is indeed brilliantly sunny.
Both of these differences could have huge effects on
the way the day gets shaped as far as the rates of
softening in relation to both the performance on the
slopes and the amount of open terrain that is delayed
or progressively supposed to open.
For all those reasons it’s safe to say that conditions
may be highly dynamic, at least for the morning.
Once the sun gets to the height of it’s noon hour arch,
and the air temp peaks at somewhere over +5 C, the
probability is that most everything will get soft, especially
on the lower sectors of Versant Sud/South Side. Versant
Nord/North Side terrain may retain more firmness for
the entire day and especially descent lines in shaded
trail sides, so if you find that “Soft Is Slow”... head for
the shadows!
The access to Sous Bois could be highly variable, please
check with Summit Info.Ski Crews for updates and please
also respect Ski Patrol hand postings.
-------- Equipment Caveat: -------------
Base wax/coatings for “Warm” range spring snow
are a huge asset for speed and glide retention when
and where softness can ultimately lead to saturation
and hydrodynamic drag.

If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
