Every Good Reason You Need To Hit The Road For Tremblant!

This Says It All...

T360 Regional Expert Fan Feedback:

“One of the best ever opening days of surface quality.”

It may look a little grey, but for sure the skiing is GREAT!

It may not be the most ever opening weekend terrain,
but the value of the immense square area that includes
Beauvallon Haut/Upper/Alpine(#) and Beauchemin Haut/Upper
and Bas/Lower PLUS P’tit Bonheur, can not be overstated.

For the usual opening sequence attendance, the traffic loads
spread out over such a wide surface area automatically insures
the daily durability of fine surface quality.

Compared to years where the entire group has to be accommodated
on one or two upper Nord/North trails, this is an instantly recognizable
advantage that you feel all day.

(#) Please Note: “Alpine” has been re-named "ROGER MCCARTHY”
beginning the 2025/26 ski season. It will take several seasons
before local/regional Tremblant frequent fliers adapt to a new
trail name and we may refer to either out of common reference
or habit.

Weather Notes:

Cooling off from a very brief warmth, and snow in the forecast.

We don’t know exactly how much new snow we’ll get but as
usual, every snowflake counts and perhaps more importantly
at this stage, it’s going to make for a great opportunity for
Mountain Crews to maximize snowmaking in the process of
expanding the open terrain inventory in a consistently sub-zero C
environment.

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

Early winter fine grooming over the early base
that has a high ratio of natural snow in the mix
producing a very natural feel underfoot. Compared
to typical opening sequences, we might say that
we are at least a week ahead of normal development
and sustained daily quality.

There was an ever-so-slight warmth exposure over
the past couple of days, but despite the rain that
regional ground levels got, the Mountains elevations
just never saw that and remain almost completely,
snowy, dry. Small bits of icy did exist, and may still
be encountered today but in relation to the overall
very highly refined groomed quality, they are small
and easily handled with cautious speed and sharp
edges.

On the positive side, it snowed a wee bit overnight
and it’s snowing now. It’s not a blizzard or a storm,
but it is enough to make everything white. More
importantly it will add a large degree of traction to
the performance envelop today that is far greater
than its modest accumulation depth might suggest.

Big, BIG Weekend NEW Opening Development Update:

Whether you ski it or not...

Every single Tremblant weekend guest will benefit
from the Nansen Haut/Upper sector opening just
because it’s going to increase the skiable square
area by roughly 20%, overnight. As a consequence,
traffic loads are immediately reduced everywhere,
thereby enhancing all-day groomed quality.

This is all notwithstanding the fantastic attributes
of Nansen in and of itself, which is one of the finest
learning and training zones on the East Coast of
North America. Period.
