Good, Better, Best!

That's the way we're headed here on the slopes
of Tremblant, as the snow is building up!

Thanks for all the beautiful, fluffy, Powder Snow this week Mother Nature!

Nice to see things returning to normal as we have another increase in the Open
Trail count which is now up to 84!

Sorry for the delay in the posting time of this report... technical issues all fixed
up now.

Anyway, today promises to be another of increasing coverage and quality
as we rebound from the conditions of the first of the week. It's good to be
able to put that in a "past tense" so quickly. We have a lot to be thankful
for with the abundant, steady snow we've had since Monday night, so we
can pretty much take a deep breath of relief and move forward now.

Fairly mild upper temps of -5C forecasted for today with calm to moderate
South winds that will be moving across the Mountain from the top of the
Duncan Chair towards Nansen , pastel grey overcast and the odd passage
of flurries here and there, just to give a comforting winter ambiance.

The Skiing and Snowboarding are first rate so get out and enjoy Winter at Tremblant!

For best results, we encourage you to visit the Tremblant Equipment
Service shop located in the Chalet des Voyageurs at the bottom of the
Cabriolet (on the right hand side as you face the Cabriolet loading zone)
and have your Skis or Board tuned up. Fresh, sharp edges and properly
sealed bases will always provide optimum performance. The average Skier
or Boarder can not feel the gradual reduction in control that comes from
daily wear. The most common comment we hear when someone gets
their gear tuned is... "I can't believe that tune-up made such a difference...
They feel like brand new skis!" Seriously, getting a tune-up is one of the
best ways to improve your game... your muscle, power and skills are not
as much value if they can't be well controlled.

The Snow Fall today started out being squall activity passing through,
until around 2:00 p.m., when it became steady, constant, from then
on right up to last run, it just kept on getting heavier and heavier.
One could only think that if this keeps up, there's gunna' be a Ton
of fresh Snow on the Mountain tomorrow!

There was actually a pretty good crowd out... nothing that meant any
line ups beyond a few seconds or so.

You had to use some caution in the center portions of
well traveled runs as there were some areas that had
slick portions that were exposed(left-overs from
Mondays whacky weather), but far and away,
the surface quality is exceptional.
