47(*) Open Trails At #Tremblant.
Continuing Cool With A Highly Conflicted Weather Outlook.
Most of the Continental forecast models have seemed
to think it’s going to get really warm over the near-term,
but both the localized and recently updated forecasts just
don’t support those models at all as they show sustained
cool throughout the Holiday period.
What’s going on?
Weather Notes:
More regional and continental supplementary forecast
data to follow, but looking at the localized forecast data
here first, there is just about nothing that supports the
freakish warm that some forecasters are talking about.

Point... Counter-Point.
The latest forecast modelling suggests
Tremblant is going to remain decidedly
winter through Christmas. In our opinion
looking much further than the long range
forecast in todays main weather data is
not really practical just because everything
has been changing so quickly. The push/pull
of tipping point factors that could or probably
become dominant are not entirely predictable.
Conditions Notes:
Generally:
If you are planning to attend at Tremblant over the Holidays...
Allowing for the wild range of weather potentials,
you’ll need to be ready for anything but at this stage,
we are giving far more credibility to the cool side and
that means a firm trail base that wants sharp, fresh
edges in order to optimize grip and control move
efficacy.
Basically, you want grip and go, not slip and slide.

If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
