88(*) Open Trails At #Tremblant.
On The Right Side Of Winter.
Weather Notes:
Wow... 5 days of sunshine? After what seems like less
than 5 days of sun for the whole season so-far, here’s
a nice bonus Christmas present!
--------------- Supplementary Weather Data: ---------------
On The Right Side Of Winter... Literally.
Conditions Notes:
Generally:
Fantastic pre-Christmas conditions that
feature all the benefits of the early and
rapid deep snowfall accumulations since
and before Opening day in late November.
A year ago today(in a record season), we
had 54 Open trails and 147cm’s of natural
snow, so comparatively, we’re way ahead
and with the ongoing favourable weather
outlook, forecasting great expectations.
Please Note: High Rates Of Mixed Skill Level
Sharing Due To Holiday Attendance.
Allow extra passing margins and watch out for
folks who may make sudden or unpredictable
speed or directional changes.
In The Groomed:
Very fine to excellent, however there may be
wind-shaped favour in some sectors and/or
over or around topographical contours where
additional depths beyond the stat’s has occurred.
It is possible that some of these deeper bits may
be prone to traffic generated moguls later on.
Conversely, there may be wind-facing zones
that can exhibit traffic generated slick or icy
bits. Look for patterns and explore with reduced
speeds, especially on steeper pitch angles.
In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:
Important repeat directly applicable to this trail group:
"Fantastic pre-Christmas conditions that
feature all the benefits of the early and
rapid deep snowfall accumulations since
and before Opening day in late November.
A year ago today(in a record season), we
had 54 Open trails and 147cm’s of natural

If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
