Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

WOW fresh snowfall conditions for a wonderful
White Christmas present!

With a bit over the 10cm’s ideal single-pass compaction
rate for grooming, the 13cm’s may be prone to soft,
eventual mogul building where wind shaping has allowed
deeper concentrations, so take your time exploring at
slow initial speeds and try to be really observant of
conditions patterns that suit your skill sets. Don’t
be afraid to stick with your own personal sweet spots
for repeats.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

At anything over 200cm’s of seasonal base accumulation
levels(today at 220cm’s), we begin to see what we call
seasonal maturity in wider ranges of hazard-free Sous Bois.

This is just in the St. Nick of time though, because the
Holiday group that escaped the Big City to find adventure
in the bush is going to generate wear patterns within hours
and consequently there are most likely going to be evolving
challenge as well as increased hazard potential in the highest
volume traffic zones.

Be cautious, be mindful of trees, and do not assume anything
about what is or isn’t below the next crest. If you can’t see
below a crest, slow down or stop until you can.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

 If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
