There is no doubt that we have the
best conditions of the season right now.
With over 600 acres of open terrain, the conditions
will literally be improving on a daily basis as the
Tremblant Mountain Crews work their Magic!
88 Open trails under brilliantly sunny skies with an
early morning "eye opener" winter temp of -22C,
forecasted to rise quickly up to -13C. The wind will
be moderate from a Westerly direction which means
it will be coming straight up the Beauvallon sector,
so you will need to bundle up as you face into it going
down the South Side, but if you are using the Flying Mile
or TGV Quad chairs, the wind should be at your back
and you should also be able to feel good thermal
energy from the sun.
Another beginning to a Classic Tremblant week of great
skiing and snowboarding!
Be sure to look back through the pics attached
to the last several reports for more detail.

Looking for the best runs at Tremblant right now?
Try all that are open, because we could not find any
that were not in exceptional shape.
That does not mean that there were not other challenges though,
as the Summit fog certainly did restrict visibility to about 20 meters
or so, but it did not affect goggle performance, so you just had
to cope with it. There were some daytime Snowmaking zones
that could cause goggle coating, but there was plenty of space
to circle around them. Realistically speaking, there is still the
very odd slick or icy patch in the very highest traffic/wear areas,
so you did have to keep an eye out for those.
There should be no visibility restrictions today as you will be
able to see just about forever under the deep blue sky of a pure winter day!
Tremblant has always been one of the most beautiful places on
earth for Natural Scenery, so if you are quick with your fingers,
so they don't get too cold, today will be fabulous for picture taking.
Over the course of the last few days we have tried to feature
some bigger images in our reports here because the scenery is spectacular.
We are still recommending that you use caution around trail
intersections and run out zones where there are some slick areas
that could cause braking problems.

18 inches of fresh snow an all sides of
the Mountain over the last week have been a huge
benefit to the surfaces and it shows in virtually
every run you take.
