102/102(*) Open Trails At #Tremblant.
The Weather Is Still The News...
Yesterday it was -31C, now it’s -16C, so...
Half As Cold Equals Twice As Easy.
or, put another way, maybe...
Twice As Warm Equals Half Of Layers.
You won’t need to look like the Michelin Man
but you’ll still need to be snuggly bundled up.
The big difference is that you’ll be able to stay
out twice as long if you wear yesterdays gear,
or, stay out the same as yesterday with half
as many layers today...
You get the picture...

Conditions Notes:
In The Groomed:
The Return Of Normal.
After the extreme deep cool that typically generates
reduced glide, todays return to far warmer temps
facilitates friction reduction and skis and boards
get to work again in a more normal way and glide
gets restored, however...
This is a relative perspective where the base
comparison is surface performance at -30’s C
and -16 C, so there may still be some glide
inhibiting, but it’s just going to be way less
noticeable.
In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:
Almost everything is easy, fun and forgiving.
Of course there can be exceptions but light
and dry snowfall is typically a great asset for
the entire category.

If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
