102/102(*) Open Trails At #Tremblant .
This Is What You Have To Work With...
Refined Grooming Excellence.
A 2-Part, Mini Trail Case Study, Versant Nord/North Side Trail # 57, Devils River.
It may be “grey”, but the skiing is “Great” !!!
Careful explorations will reveal what could be technically
argued as seasonal “Best Of” conditions where unique
combinations of weather, snowfall, grooming, traffic,
topography, etc., etc., permit and preserve zones of
excellence and this is just one sample of multitudes.
Is it all perfect?, of course not, “Perfect” is a concept and
skiing takes place in an outdoor environment where Mother
Nature generates both favour and disfavour. The difference at
Tremblant is the superb efforts of one of the most professional
grooming crews in North America to reliably render the highest
levels of optimization over the challenges of natural conditions.
Devils River is only one of dozens of very close to perfect high
performance front-side carving samples that over the course
of time and traffic evolve over expanding ranges of terrain
during periods of stable sub-zero weather or after new snow.
This is the benefit of attending at the mature season’s peak
combinations of durably sustained winter weather and a
statistically abundant snowfall accumulations when Crews
can integrate all these favourable components across vast
expanses of the Alpine trail network.

Conditions Notes:
Generally:
Current overall snowfall conditions favour Groomed because
trails literally get resurfaced within the reserves of accumulated
base depths which are still above average for this date, even
though we have had a bit of a snowfall gap up until a couple
of days ago. On the flip-side, the Sous Bois group that does
not have the same mechanical advantage, continues to be the
most sensitive with wear and firmness embedded into Expert
levels of very well established, somewhat solid, bump patterns.
Please Note:
The Nord/North Duncan Quad remains closed today.
Evidently there have been unexpected issues with
the drive system assembly causing the delays.
Here is a copy of the Official text applicable to 2.28.26
"Please note that the Duncan Express chairlift will be closed today
Work has progressed, but some steps are continuing today with
support from our teams, specialized partners and Doppelmayr.
The lift will remain closed today, Saturday, February 28th.
We appreciate your understanding as our team completes
necessary work, and we look forward to reopening it soon."

Bring Back The Memories...
Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the “Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
