Proof Of Cool.
However, when it comes to levels... Temperature inversions
are not uncommon, but what is uncommon with this one is
the +6 C to the warmer Summit. A typical temp. inversion is
more regularly around +4 C, so currently that will be a
substantial advantage up on trail elevations.

Weather Notes:
Is this the last really KKkkool winter morning for this season?
Maybe, and considering historic March averages, probably.
----------- Supplementary Weather Statistics/Data: -----------------
Wait For It... at least as far as seasonal March temps anyway, because
we need a last little shot of Polar Vortex this morning, just before it
moves off to the Nor-East.

It’s March... The School Break Season, So Lets Focus On...
Cruise It, Or Jump It... Either Way, Fun For The Whole Family!
Versant Nord/North Side Trail # 79, “Sissy Schuss” is a
1948, Joe Ryan, original descent path that is a local
favourite for very good reason. It has a beautiful undulating
topographical contour sequence that is just prime for
multi-skill level sharing, but especially for aspiring
Intermediate level skill building. It does this, like so many
other excellent learning trails at Tremblant, by facilitating
naturally easy speed regulation due the the sequential
variety of pitch angles that allow learners to experiment
with speed, but with buffers of periodic shallow pitches
to prevent run-away and allow easy turning and braking.
We’ve spent decades practicing carving technique in lapping
format here using the Expo Quad and if you can make 4 runs
in an hour here focusing on technique, you will be a better skier. period.
Sissy Haut/Upper has had the Mitik Park built into it for
several seasons now, but the features are biased on
petite/small for young or inexperienced fun for kids of
all ages and as you can see there is still plenty of room
for full width or side edge cruising in either parallel or
carving styles.

Safe fun starts small, and this is a great place for Mum’s
and Dad’s to supervise low level, first time air time. Having
a safe space for little adventures is key to building enthusiasm
and makes the whole idea of bringing them back easier if there
are well established memories of fun. As parents, here’s where
you get that done.
3.1.26.Nord.North.Sissy.Schuss.Mitik.Park.Fun.For.Kidz.d.jpg
This is only one of dozens of examples of the
super user-friendly, family fun variety, that has
brought them back, year after year, decade after
decade. What Mum’s and Dad’s need to remember
is that when little Johnny or little Jill learns here at
Tremblant, you can take them anywhere in the world
and they will be at the head of their class.

Conditions Notes:
Generally:
Do you like your conditions “Crispy” or “Baked”... ?
Well, this morning you do not have a choice, we only got “Crispy”
and loads of it at that... At least the Summit +6C warmer temp.
inversion is a first tracks advantage, and after that a comparatively
quick temp rise over the whole Mountain under direct sunshine, but...
it still gunna be a statistically KKkkool one for early March, so you’ll
need to bundle up, or... have a relaxing late brunch, skip lunch and
ski the entire mid-to-late day with only warming breaks?
Don’t “Chicken Out”, Bundle Up, Head Out And Enjoy “Crispy” !!!
