Despite some Mother Nature early Spring weather glitches...

Why Tremblant Is As Good As It Is...

Tremblant Statistical Data Point:

As Of March 15, 2026, The So-Far Tremblant Ski Season
Natural Snowfall @ 448 Cm’s Now Exceeds The 30 Year
TOTAL Seasonal, Running Average of 445 Cm’s.

Here’s a look at the numbers from our T360 Archives:

We ran the first version of this “Proof Of Snow” yesterday
and here is V2 from a different angle that if you look
beyond the skis, you are looking at P’tit Bonheur’s
right-side descending, just below its upper pitch.

What you can see above is the 1.5 metres of ambient Sous Bois
snowpack, what you can’t see is the ice-sheet underneath
which is at least one reason for closures in the bush terrain.

What you can see below is the most obvious evidence of the
recent freezing rain. This pic is within 5 linear metres of the
pic. above, and it is looking exactly the same today. On the
groomed surfaces it’s all been integrated and other than the
overall firmness under the new snow, practically it is not
noticeable in the granular way it sometimes can be as
broken coarseness, all you feel is very smooth and really fast.

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

Noticeable levels of incrementally elevated quality
and scope of applied refinement due to another
night shift of grooming, together with the added
integration of more new natural snowfall.

Sharp edges will still be a huge asset, as well as
smoothly applied control moves that will be easier
to hold turning forces with and as a consequence
we expect that forgiveness will also be noticeably
better, especially moving up and into the Black
Diamond Expert skill level trail group.

The Green’s and Blue’s should all hold very smooth
conditions all day and our forecast is that the best
optimized blend of speed and handling is going to
be found in the Blue’s with moderate pitch angles
like Beauvallon and Beauchemin for only 2 of dozens
of examples. But... there will be sweet spots everywhere
across all challenge levels so your mission is to explore
responsibly and have fun doing repeats in the conditions
that suit you best.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

Continued restrictions in the Sous Bois group due to
legitimate hazard levels cause by weather effects
outside human control. New snowfall may see enough
buffering, rising temperatures may see enough softening
to mitigate hazard, but either way, the temp oscillations
above and below Zero C that are common to evolving spring
conditions are likely to keep the open Sous Bois terrain
highly variable on a day by day basis. For planners keen
on Sous Bois, the best potential may likely be attached
to heat cycles, however that will also means eventual
terrain loss so the earlier attendance you can make,
the better your chances for coverage/selection.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the “Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

 If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
