The Weather Is The News...
From Yesterday’s High To Todays Low,
30 Degrees C Drop In 36 Hours.
Thank goodness there’s quite a bit of snowfall
because without that as an effective buffer over
the re-froze base, we’d be in a completely
different pickle. With all the snowfall, there’s
significant probability of a very user-friendly
array within the freshly groomed open terrain.
Weather Notes:
Mother Nature “Springs” more wild weather gyrations
on us but at least in this case we get the beneficial
prospects of quite a bit of snow now as well as in
the near-term future. This is all very typical of any
March profile that can and usually does display a
wide range of in and out of winter to spring and
back again, as global tilt gradually increases the
forces of more direct overhead solar energy that
are eventually going to become thermally dominant.
------------- Environment Canada Snow Squall Warning: ---------------
Great for skiing, bad for driving...

Conditions Notes:
In The Groomed:
Considering yesterdays heat and todays cold, with all
this rather thick new snowfall, there is exceptionally
quick recovery potential within all the freshly groomed
where the new snow gets instantly integrated into an
optimized top layer blend.
It won’t all be perfect, there may be some glitches here
or there, but overall, we think Mountain Crews will have
been able to deliver quite a bit of select excellence within
the the contact of the totally wild weather matrix.
Wind shaping may generate areas of thickness/depth that
could be prone to tracking or mogul formation.
Your mission for today is to explore with responsible
conservative speeds, find the conditions favourable for
your preferences and realistic skills, then work within
those select zones to thoroughly warm up and build
confidence before moving to greater challenge.
In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:
Ongoing sensitivity and restricted access, however if
the snowfall that has already arrived, and is now expected,
actually arrives, the long range weather forecast shows
potential for reopens. At exactly what time we don’t
know for sure, but in our opinion, it may be tied to
lee-side wind favour if that causes back-fill.
Please Note:
At this time there are 45/72 time delayed trail open’s
pending Ski Patrol assessment/confirmations. We expect
there could be multiple list changes. Check with Info.Ski
Summit Station Crews for run-by-run updates.

Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the “Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
