A Gorgeous, Sunny, Mild, Mid-Winter Day... In April!

However, on the basis of this stage of the season, we are....

Riding The Line With The Wild Cards Of Spring...

When you look at the temp line in the 10 day long range,
plus the Continental Temp graphic in the supplementary
data all below you can clearly see how Mother Nature has
us in a spot where the tipping points of just under or just
over Zero C can cause dramatic variations in snow surfaces
up/over elevations that are typically -4C cooler, but can vary
on that spread, literally by the hour.

We legitimately need to be ready for anything and everything
and all at once because these variations could all be
encountered on a single descent.

Conditions Notes:

In The Groomed:

Due to solidly below Zero C at elevations since
yesterday, there should be increased stability
and ranges of groomed consistency across all
categories, however Black challenges may exhibit
more evident weather related anomalies, especially
where traffic concentrates on trail centres or where
they are narrow, converge or intersect.

The Green’s and lesser slope-angled Blue’s
should all be very fine with the most winter-like
quality and absolutely, for sure, your very best
friends are going to be recently tuned sharp edges.

In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:

Anything goes exciting adventures everywhere, but there
may be both sides of Zero C thermal effects that can
exhibit soft spring performance where thawed and
sometimes harsh wintery solid where froze.

Adaptability on the fly is key, but that is best and
safely done with all explorations undertaken at slow
speeds with a keen eye for patterns and situational
awareness.

The overall Sous Bois coverage is actually outstanding
for any April 2, but you need the reflexes of a cat to be
able to hop, skip, jump, brake, stop, all within metres,
all within split seconds, to stay safe.

Authentic Experts Only Please.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the “Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

 If you “Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
