3/20/10 Conditions

Ontario Spring Break Final Weekend.
71 Open Trails, partially sunny skies,
expected high temp @ +4C...
A bit cooler, but still nice!
Great long term Weather news too...
Long term weather forecast no longer
shows rain that was to have been here over
the weekend. What a relief!
On the flip-side, it's no longer showing
as much of the the snow it was forecasting either.
Oh well... on balance, we probably have to go
with this forecast, because any rain would have
rapidly accelerated snow loss, so even if there
had been snow, it would have had to be big snow
in order to cover. This way, we get to keep what we
have and hopefully, the Mountain Crews can do
their usual excellent job of making the best of it.
SUPER DEMO DAY!
Located right at the South Side base of
Johannsen, between the Flying Mile and
the Gondola. Today is a great opprtunity
to check out all the newest gear, then after
you've done enough looking, try it out!
Like what you try? ...Time to Buy!
No one's more motivated to make deals
like Ski/Board shops at the end of the season,
so if you're in the market for a great deal,
today's the day!

Today's Skiing and Boarding:
Pure Spring Conditions... so steeper pitches will
turn into moguls, if sufficient solar energy comes through
sun softened, thick corn or mashed potato snow, and very
easy to handle temps that mean shells and light gear, so
easy to dress for too.
Explore the whole Mountain carefully today,
the best lines may not be obvious, so if your
passing by everything too quickly, you'll miss
seeing some great opportunities.
One way to get a more complete picture of where
we're at today, is to review the preceding days reports
to form your own composite of current conditions.
You can do that by clicking on "Mountain Reports"
above, then select by date to see how we have arrived
at the conditions we've got now.
Secret North Side Location!
If you explore the North Side carefully,
you can find this exact spot!
10 points if you already know
where!
For those that like to look at the
statistics(like we do), here's the data...
