The Joy of Skiing!
The Thrill of Boarding!
This is it Boys and Girls!
There's no easy way to say it, but...
Your final chance of the season to enjoy the
shear delight of the Alpine Winter Ski/Board
season of 2009/2010 at Tremblant!
Ski/Board today or tomorrow or wait 7.5 Months!
There are only 2 things that really count this weekend...
1) There are 11 Classic Tremblant Trails OPEN.
2) There are Lifts to the Summit.
Proof of Snow at Tremblant!
Here are 2 Web Cam Snap Shots of Tremblant Summit
this Morning.
Web Cam Snap Shots courtesy of http://www.tremblant.ca Here is the Official, Printable Grooming and Trail
status report, courtesy of http://www.tremblant.ca
(This Excellent document is produced daily and is
included as a clickable link on the Official Tremblant
Snow Report as you can locate in the top banner
of the http://www.tremblant.ca homepage.) Starting out at just under the zero mark, then
rapidly rising to +8C, our surfaces will undergo
the transition from "Firm" to "Soft". That
sweet spot of change is the fun part. Not too
slick, not too soft, but just right. You can follow
the "sweet spot" around for a while too, as the
sun makes its way overhead, gradually sending
its energy to the new surfaces it shines on.
There will be wonderful conditions within the Open
terrain today, particularly on the Upper North Side.
P'tit Bonheur, Rigodon, upper Beauchemin, La Traverse,
Rope Tow, under the Lowell Thomas chair, should all be
excellent!
These classic Tremblant North runs have been in the shade
for the whole season, they have gotten and kept more snow
for the most part and today, they could well be the "Stars"
of the show.
On the South Side, our dear old friend Beauvallon will
be doing the big job of handling all the traffic from the
summit, but there's no better run to do it!
As a bonus, the upper portion of Alpine is ready for you
to carve up too...
It's Sunny...
There's Snow...
Tremblant is OPEN!
so there's only one thing left to do...
Get your gear on and Hit The Slopes!
