Important Apres Ski Notice Attached.
Information contained in this notice is specifically applicable to
all potential Tremblant Mountain users for 1 week from this date.
It is generally applicable to all future Tremblant historians as it
may form the foundation of the "Base" for our Alpine Snow Surfaces
for this season.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
News Flash!!!
Open Tail Count UP BY 2, and a very important 2 as well...
As of 10:00a.m. Lowell Thomas and La Traverse are now OPEN!!!
We've got a ton of Snow, grab your gear and
head to Tremblant as soon as you can.
Get in line for FRESH SNOW!!! The weather today is a bit cooler with base level temps at around
-11C. The summit will be around -15,16 or so and with a continued
West wind, you will want to bundle up and keep all potential
air gaps well sealed. There is a lot of "Swirl" in the summit winds,
but once you descend from that level, they calm down, direction wise.
The North Side is in the "Lee" or shelter from the winds that are
basically coming up Beauvallon on the South Side, so if you're looking
for the quietest sector, it should be from just below the summit and
on down on the North Side. You may feel the wind a bit as you come
to the top of the Lowell Thomas Triple chair and riding up the TGV Quad
it will be hopefully at your back.
If you can cope with Vision Maintenance Procedures for safe
passage from the Summit and around snowmaking zones
(as per instructions included in this link: http://alturl.com/oq3nt ),
then the Surface conditions are excellent.

and as the season develops, it is one of the best
sources of Mountain info.) Check this nugget out above:
NIGHT TIME SNOWMAKING ON UPPER EXPO!!!

Fantastic news that we've all been waiting for.
The next week is going to see a lot of progress as Mother Nature
seems to be smiling on Tremblant with Fresh Snow!
