51 Open Trails(*) on the Official List today,
and it's going to be another classic Tremblant
early season day!

We need to say a few quick words about "Early Season".
The reason for that is Tremblant has been taking some
"Heat" (complaints) from people on their Facebook page
about the kinds of hazards that are totally normal and to be
expected in "EARLY Season".

It is not "Full Season" yet and experienced Mountain users
know there can be some natural hazards when our base depth
is 100 CM, not 100 inches!

We at Tremblant360.com are so very thankful for what we have
now. Compared to last year, we're miles ahead and the surfaces
we have are first rate. Give 'em a break people, we're skiing and
boarding on beautiful snow and the Mountain crews are doing a
fabulous job of making it the best it can be! Get out and enjoy it!

We have Excellent Early Season Conditions. There are very few
hazards out there, but there are some, so you need to use your
head in newly opened terrain and explore with care prior to
ripping around.

This is particularly true in some of the "Black Diamond" Expert
terrain. The steepness and difficulty of Expert terrain requires
the appropriate skills and abilities, part of which is careful
navigation while exploring.

If you're looking for a Ski Resort with zero early season hazards,
look for a steep golf course, 'cause that's just about what it would take.

If you're looking for "Golf Course" smoothness, Tremblant has you
covered though. Anyone that's skied/boarded Nansen or P'tit Bonheur
for example knows exactly how fine the smoothest Tremblant surfaces
can be. There are non better in the Laurentians.

There are going to be lot's of racers racing around today and
McCullock and Tashereau, while open, are restricted to race
participants for safety during competition.
The weather today is a lot warmer than yesterday, so it's going
to be a really easy winter day. High temps up to -5C at the summit.
Very light southerly winds coming across the summit from the
Duncan side towards Nansen, no trouble at all.

single source description of Tremblant trails. The legend at the
bottom tells you what the symbols mean and our experience
has shown it to be very accurate. Zoom in if necessary.
Get out for some Fresh Air and Exercise on Very Fine
Early Season conditions at Tremblant!

A Bit Of Late Night Apres Ski.

What a great week its been at Tremblant.

Snow, Snow, then some more Snow.

The surface quality simply gets better with each passing day
and whether you're here now to enjoy it, or you're planning
a trip to Tremblant for later on this season, the news is
fantastic.

Within the scope of still early season conditions, the Mountain is
in remarkably fine shape.

If there are any "General" complaints at this stage, then frankly,
those that are making them are not too familiar with "Early Season"
because, by almost any previous "Early Season", snow surfaces at
Tremblant are a treat for all skill levels.

If anyone has any "Specific" complaints, then keep this in mind...

With over 350 acres of open skiable terrain, it could be near impossible
for the Ski Patrol to know about every single glitch on the Mountain, so
if you find a rock somewhere out there that you think needs to be marked,
go to the Patrol H/Q at the summit and tell them. Letting the Patrol know
about previously undiscovered hazards is just about the best you can do.
The Ski Patrol takes safety very seriously, so we're sure they will listen.

This excellent news is very welcome and we wish the Mountain Crews
all the best. With any luck, the new Duncan Upper control cabin will be
as close as possible to "Plug and Play".
