Make sure you have your camera with you today.
Picture Perfect.
At least, that's the possibility. The few bits of cloud that
are hanging around should clear off and we should have
a wonderfully bright clear day, ideal for capturing all the
magnificent views at the top, not to mention everywhere
else on the Mountain.
Weather forecasters thought it was going to be a chilly
-24C BUT, it is WARMER THAN EXPECTED at only -17C
in St Jovite this A.M., HOWEVER, a passing cold air mass
could cause that to change and go lower during the day.
It would be wise to have layers available to fine tune
your comfort zone.
Most modern Ski or Board Jackets have Zippered Vents,
so the whole idea on a day like today is to select a vented
jacket that is good for the expected low temp range, then,
if the temps are higher, just open the vents and away you go.
Anyway, it's going to be a great day on the Mountain, fully open,
of course and a ton of beautifully groomed surfaces.
Don't forget, a little cold goes a long way to forming a carver’s
paradise with plenty of "Grip", so you can really drive into those
turns and hold a great edge at Tremblant today.
The wind is going to be from the West, so coming up McCulloch,
but you will not feel that at all in the comfort of the Gondola.
It could be brisk at times early this morning, but should settle
down by mid-day.
Make sure you have a face mask and keep all those things like
noses, ears and cheeks covered up.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
END OF DAY UPDATE:
O.K., so it was a bit "Breezy", a tiny bit "Cool", but Hey... A Great day at Tremblant anyway!
