"How much Snow Fell?"

Best way to show you... this is typical of any untracked bits you
can find on North or South.

The official Tremblant.ca called it a 10CM snowfall and we think
that is quite accurate. The winds were stronger than forecast
which meant there was some blowing and drifting going on,
however that was for the most part only at the summit.

This snow is definitely very helpful in building up the coverage
on all sectors of the Mountain.

We would have liked more, so we're happy to see the forecast
calls for additional snow possibilities for the day after tomorrow.

The Skiing and Snowboarding are excellent.
Surface conditions are very high quality. The
grip and traction properties of this snow being
worked into our existing base elevates the quality
all over the Mountain.

Over the next few days, Mountain Crews will have a
chance to blend the fresh into the existing, so look
for things to steadily get better as that happens.

Our Most Sincere Appreciation to Gabo Rousseau for the
beautiful pic's above.

The conditions are literally improving by the hour as the Mountain
Crews work diligently on integrating the new natural snow with
their own blown production.

The result is very even traction and grip, so you can set your edges
and let them carve, feeling confident in your control from turn to turn.

To be as objective as possible, it's necessary to point out that there
are still some slick areas in narrow, steep and/or heavy traffic zones,
so you need to mindful in those situations, just in case.

Other than that, it's quite remarkable how far things have come along.
A few days ago, let's say 5 days ago, P'tit Bonheur even had a little
slick patch, just below the second bend. There is no sign of that now
and you can lay your edges over sideways in that same spot and ride
the carve right through from turn to turn.

Hard to imagine a more perfect scene...
