For some reason it keeps on SNOWING!
... and on top of that, there are 90 (*) Open Trails
on all 4 beautiful, Open sides of Tremblant.
Tremblant Proof of Snow
The Weather...
The weather today starts out at -15c, which should quickly rise to
-6C under snowy skies with a moderate Westerly wind.
We love this forecast because with the wind and snow
combination in this direction, there is typically some drifting
that occurs on the North Side. If this drifting occurs, it is more
pronounced in some of the narrower runs below the summit,
so look for a powdery treat in places off the Duncan and
Lowell Thomas sectors.
Everything was wonderful yesterday. Beautiful surfaces
with beautiful views, just like this one from the Duncan
Quad Chair, as it approaches the summit. North, South, Soleil, Edge...
It's all good at Tremblant! The Skiing and Boarding Conditions:
No matter where you go within your skill level rated
terrain, the snow surface quality is at the season's best.
Skiing Tremblant right now is an absolute joy and if it is
within your power to go Skiing or Boarding, don't waste
any more time, just go!

North Side Terrain Sample
The Cossak "Bump Park" As regular readers are aware, part of the snowmaking process is the
formation of large blown "Bumps" of snow that are usually
mowed flat on the runs they are put on.
There are some people however, that really enjoy the contours of
the bumps, so we're not sure if they leave them on Cossak for those
folks, or whether they just haven't gotten around to grooming them
flat yet. Regardless, if you find the "Bump Park" fun, up until
last run yesterday anyway, you can find them alive and well
on Cossak, just to the right side of Expo's summit, looking
down the Mountain.
The jumps in the Park that can be seen from Flying Mile.
You'll need a Pilot's License
to take off from these...

to highlight the surface characteristics of the snow.) 9 Wallpaper Park Pic's taken from Flying Mile Chair Posted
