Apres Ski...
Tuned Edges, Careful Speed Control, Beautiful Terrain, Warm Sun, Softening Surfaces,
Healthy Exercise, Positive Attitude, Good Food, Good Friends...
Le Tremblant Joie De Vivre
An Excellent Day...
You really should try to get out for this if you can.
More detail below in reply...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Mid-Morning Up-Date:
Hot off the Mountain, fresh morning pic's!
Nice, very nice. If you have a chance to go to Tremblant
you'd be "nuts" not to take it. Exceptional Spring coverages
are almost flawless and a rare treat at this quality.
Not hard to imagine what today will be like after that first coffee... Race Kids on Race Day... They're all over the place! Cruisin' the North! Right down the middle, great surfaces
with obvious and excellent quality. Lots of grip for hard
driving turns or simply cruising at a relaxed pace. For all those people that had concerns about Devils River not being
groomed and with the big bumps back in early winter. This is when
you're glad they did that because without all that massive snow
inventory that has now been packed and groomed into the base,
Devils River and many others like it, would just not be nearly as
good as it is today. Those big bumps are covering up a ton of
natural "Glitches" that otherwise would make this run a lot less
"User Friendly" than the almost perfect ribbon of corduroy it is
right now. More in Apres Ski later...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
68(*) Open Trails on the Spring Sides of Tremblant!
VERY SHORT PRELIMINARY REPORT TODAY
because we're off to capture some pictures for "First Run".
Sun coming up, fresh corduroy grooming, light traffic and easy
parking are some of the main reasons to make the effort to get out
early.
Much, much more to follow...
Here's a sample. Go Skiing or Boarding at Tremblant as soon as you can.
All the groomed terrain is in great shape. Things can be "Firm"
in the mornings, but very high quality traction as you can see
from the above photo. The mid-day heat has been softening
things up and there's beautiful Skiing and Boarding all
over the Mountain.
If your gear is tuned, your edges sharp, there's nothing at
Tremblant you can't handle within your skill level.
The Views are spectacular, the air is fresh and a vigorous
day on the slopes is not only fun, but it's good for your health.
Don't forget to bring your camera with fresh batteries, cause
you'll have a lot to take pic's of!
