4(*) Open Trails on the Official List.
Same as yesterday, but different...???
You Bet !!!,
There are still 18 trails with SnowMaking, so the total's the same,
but there are two very important differences for all of us regular
Skiers and Boarders that are not in the 24 Hour Children's
Charity Fundraiser...
McCulloch and Charron on the South Side have been
put on the list!!!
Practically speaking, it may be too late for this this weekend,
but if it was possible, it would have Major, Major implications for
Tremblant Weekend Guests as these two trails represent the Potential
for a South Summit to TGV path as well as any potential additions to
the Officially Open North Side trails which would substantially increase
the total amount of Open Terrain.
Caveat:
We have no idea about the absolute certainty of ANY additional
terrain beyond P'tit Bonheur and the whole of Beauchemin Upper,
both down to the Lowell Thomas Triple Chair, but...
Man 'o man, There's a Ton Of Additional Terrain with SnowMaking
right now and if ANY of it gets onto the Officially Open Trail
inventory for tomorrow, we're going to be very excited!
Lets review a couple of things from this Pic from
earlier this week. For Park People: 4 modules open on Beauchemin, on the right
side, just near the La Traverse intersection, above the Lowell
Thomas Triple Chair.
For regular Tremblant Alpine Sports Fans: The immaculate
grooming Corduroy lines you see here are exactly what you
can expect on any open terrain this weekend.
Will we have more?
We don't know yet, but as soon as we do
we'll record it right here.

status report, Courtesy of tremblant.ca Before and After...
Aprox. 24 hours between these composite Web Cam
North Side stitched panoramas....
Snow, both Natural and Blown, filling in North
Side quite nicely. A great Start! ....Bottom line(s)....
There's a TON of terrain with Snowmaking
and we feel chances are good that some of it will be
added to tomorrows Officially Open Trail inventory,
so if there is added terrain, it's going to be a great
weekend at Tremblant for that Reason alone!
Add in the Millions of Dollars raised for Children's
Charities and there's every good reason for you to be
at Tremblant this weekend!
