Expo Quad Chair Open This Morning!!!
What a relief to have the North Base up and running!
What a relief to have the quality of surface and coverage
we have!
Can you imagine a better setting than this for a
Family Holiday gathering? We think not! (Our apologies for abbreviated Short-Report
this A.M. Previous travel commitments for
family Christmas activities etc., etc..)
10 days ago we basically only had 1 or 2 open runs,
P'tit Bonheur and if the weather was accommodating,
Nansen.
Today we're going to be up at 21 if all the "Progressive"
or gradual openings occur. That's a very healthy jump
and we are very grateful to Tremblant Mountain Operations
SnowMaking, Grooming and all others involved in the
planning and administration of the huge effort we know
it takes to co-ordinate this massive effort.
Thanks Tremblant, for working so hard to get our season
off to such a great start!
Having the North Base on-line now is the highlight of this past week's
news and probably the best news we've had in terms of being
able to handle the Christmas Holiday guests that will start
arriving for both Christmas and New Years, starting this coming week.
Long term Weather models suggest more consistent winter weather
patterns and we want to express appreciation in advance to
Mother Nature for the Natural Snow we know she's going to be bringing!
More as time permits, thanks for your patience!
