21(*) Open Trails on South and North
Sides of Tremblant, from both open Bases.
More Big News at Tremblant!
So Big, you could even call it "Geant" News!
If you guessed SnowMaking on Geant on the North Side,
then you get 10 points for being correct. Along with Geant,
the Official Trail and Grooming PDF file includes Lower Duncan
which would be needed to complete the path from Geant's
end point, down to the the loading zone of the Duncan Quad
Chair for a return to the Summit.
Not only is this is another key indicator of continued progress
in seasonal terrain development, but we feel it's a "Geant" step
forward because Geant is the main corridor for other runs like
Superieur and Devils River that can be brought on-line with
SnowMaking too.
The Skiing and Boarding which were already
very very good, are getting better every day due to
the additional snow from both Mother Nature and
Mountain Crews SnowMaking efforts.
Additionally, every night, Crews are refining the existing
surfaces with grooming, and that, in combination with traffic,
helps to create finer snow crystals on the trail surfaces.
Slick or icy zones that may have been noticeable days
ago after that short little "thermal" event, are less and
less so now. That's not to say you might not find one or two
still, but we think they're minor in nature and to one degree
or another, depending on the sharpness of your edges,
you should not find anything unmanageable.
We've got the best conditions in the Laurentains...

21(*) Open Trails. This Is Not Today....
...but it's a big part of why we have
todays great conditions! Often, we can thank "last week" for "this week".
This pretty winter scene with fresh snow from last week
tells that story better than any words....
