at Tremblant!
Given the possibility today of potentially warm, wet for a few hours,
Tremblant Mountain Crews boldly show their confidence in favourable
terrain development by increasing the open trail count today!
For what it's worth on our part, we agree. The range of normal "+", "-"
temperature swings that we would typically see in early season has
not occurred with its usual frequency. Much steadier Sub-Zero temps
have allowed Crews to make HUGE progress over the last month, and
everyone that has visited the Record Setting number of Open, Very Fine
Slopes of Tremblant has benefited!
Today is the final phase in a relatively short, very normal seasonal
temp swing that should be recovered from quite quickly.
Let's remind ourselves why things are so generally excellent for this
still early season date.
"Look Around"... The fine base has not gone anywhere.
It will carry on right through this short weather glitch.
