Here's your Early Morning Webcam Eye Opener....

You know things are good to go with a Sunny, Snowy Panorama
Like This !!!

additional to follow as soon as time permits. Skiing
and Boarding will be great, even better with good edges!
Go now if you can!)

Wow, very hectic day with ton's going on, re: the 24 Hour
Children's Charity Fundraiser.

Trying to get our "ducks in a row" to be at the Press Conference
for Erik Guay tomorrow at 1:00 P.M.

Preparations are going full speed ahead and looking at our whacky
stitched Webcam Composite above, you can see all the snowmaking
going on that appears rather "cloud-like" just below the Summit.

The sheer volume of Snowmaking has generated it's own mini-weather
system around the Summit for much of the last 2 weeks.

We ran another version of this one last week, and it very clearly
supports the "Mini Weather System" point above.

Government Dock, across on the other side of Lac Tremblant.
Not hard to tell there's snowmaking going on, and lots of it!

Below: Riding up TGV Quad, looking across at the Gondola approaching
the Summit. You can see the big chimney on the Summit Lodge,
Grand Manitou, but the building is encased in Snowmaking cloud.
This is actually riding up through all that cloud, exactly what you see.

weekend, at least according to The Weather Network.

For the 24 Hour participant's, it means excellent conditions right
through the entire event.

For regular Tremblant Fans, just out for a day of great Skiing/Boarding,
over the upcoming weekend, it also means excellent conditions, but as
an added bonus, well over double the Open terrain we're usually used to
at this early season date.

For this still early season date, this is a fantastic list!

But Wait, There's More !!! Look at the Snowmaking Column...
(Middle "tick" column above.)

Good chance that's what's in store for "Soon"!!!

(If you'd like a bit more detail, use the "Previous Topic"
button, upper screen right, to go back to yesterday
and scroll through. We hope to use some of that content here
later on if/when we can catch up.)

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
