It was the kind of day that exceeds words...
It was the kind of day they make Postcards from...
It was the kind of day you don't want to stop for any reason,
so you try taking pictures on the move....

If there's any doubt in your mind about "Go" or "No Go",
cast it all aside and hit the road as soon as you can.

Any other decision would simply be foolish.

Tomorrow will start off a bit chilly at -17C, but we can tell you
for a fact that the Snow Surfaces will be superb.

Nothing Skis like "Squeaky" cold snow. It has the finest control properties
of any type of snow, from both edge set/hold/grip to speed, so get ready
for "Excellent".

Sunny to begin with, then cloud moving in and a daytime high temp of
-11C.

The Tremblant.ca Official Preliminary(subject to morning confirmation),
shows 86(*) Open Trails and a quick glance through the list indicates
that Expo Upper and lower(not the lift, just the run), Cossak, and Dynamite
are off-line resulting in the reduced count from this morning's 90.

It would appear as though heavy local snowmaking is the reason and
we would further guess that there may be a big push to be able to
Winch-Groom Expo and Cossak for New Years day. That is just a guess,
we have no way to verify that, we'll have to wait and see.

It could be busy, but the North will be O.K. both early to mid morning
and after 2:30 or so.

Bonsoir, See ya' tomorrow...

Snow White indeed... but these remarkably, unbelievably fine
Alpine Snow Surfaces are no fairy tale!

Snow White is Alive and very well at Tremblant!!!

Acres and Acres of White on the ground, White in the trees, White(snowmaking)

Sell the farm, cash in the investments, run away from home, but...

Go To Tremblant Right Now... if you can.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
