T360 Apres Mid-Night, Apres Ski...
From Beginner Fundamentals to Expert Finesse...
Tremblant has you covered.
Excellent Surfaces, Genuine Winter!
Preliminary Open Trail List for tomorrow posted below in "Reply",
Subject to Morning Confirmation.
--------------- 6:51 A.M. Orig. Post ----------------------
76(*) Open Trails on the lightly overnight Natural Snow refreshed
4 sides of Tremblant.
Today will be a Fabulous Day of "Full Tilt Carving" if for no
other reason than Yesterday was a "Full Tilt Carving" day...
In some places, perhaps even the seasons best...
So, as hard as may be for those here yesterday to imagine,
today will be better.
We love to take these hand held telephoto's from the other side of
Lac Tremblant. There aren't many places where you can capture the
essence of a whole run like this, so seeing "Grand Prix" with a good group
enjoying this Tremblant Classic descent, is exactly the way it should be.
The last 48 hours has seen a substantial improvement in surface
quality, most notably in the disappearance of "Icy" in some zones.
Speed has been great, and surfaces are for the vast majority,
glitch free and very easy to navigate on.
Basically, because of this....
Very light, dry and "Squeaky" when walked on,
this beautiful natural Snow is freshly worked into the base.
You Can Do This... all day long, if you have the muscle!!!
Grip and glide are very fine... all day long.
Yesterday was the annual running of the Ronald McDonald Charity Race
and the course looked excellent under the bright sun of the day.

Trail and Grooming Status Report, courtesy of Tremblant.ca
Much of the Groomed Open Terrain is right back at
"Seasons Best" performance levels.
Very fine work by Mountain Crews who are delivering
noticeable refinement every single night.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
(

First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
