T360 Apres Ski...
This is a Three Part Apres Ski and the first two parts are
immediately below.
The Third Part is the annotated graphic in the body of the
Orig. Post Text.
On Friday we annotated a Weather Network Graphic with...

We Got Our Wish.... At least as far as the temp's go...
So then.... If It Happens... As Forecast....
That gives Tremblant a solid winter advantage over many,
possibly even all.... of it's regional Ski Resort peers.
Remember Ski/Board Fans...
"North" is usually always better than "South"...
...when it comes to "Winter"....
...and that's the benefit of Tremblant.

Here's what to look for today....
... at least to start with...
It will probably build overcast as the day progresses...
Even though Tremblant did not get as much of the big blizzard
that has covered much of the North East Coast, non-the-less
we did get some and there is, believe it or not, an advantage
to what did come this way...
The Snow Tremblant got came at a lower temperature, and that
makes it what we like to call, "Squeaky Cold Formed Snow".
This is the kind of snow that makes that Squeaking noise when
you walk on it and it has it's own unique characteristics when
packed and groomed.
"Squeaky", Cold Formed Snow, Packed and Groomed to
As Close As Possible To Perfection.
This is a critically important distinction, and will be even more so
this upcoming week when the temps begin to float upwards on the
East Coast and things get really sloppy everywhere else but Tremblant.
It's a very simple point and all you really need to know about....
The Near Term Benefit Of Skiing/Boarding At Tremblant.

Right Now, Chances are...
Tremblant Wins....
When it comes to being "North", Tremblant's Snow
is going to stay "Snow"...
...while the overwhelming probability is everything "South",
is going to get rain.
