T360 Apres Ski, "Wide Angle" Edition... @ 10:15 P.M.
Today's Apres Ski has a few Wide Angle Panoramic Shots that
cover the "Big Picture" at Tremblant.
You can pretty much see the signs of great Skiing/Boarding as soon
as you come into sight of Tremblant. Wonderful Winter White!
This North Side Panoramic shot off the Duncan Quad looking back over
both the Duncan and Expo sectors conclusively shows the completeness
of Winter coverages at Tremblant. White, as far as the eye can see...
Full Colour, Black 'n White... Swinging the camera around towards the Edge,
the overwhelming simplicity of almost pure white and dark tones creates
the look of an almost surreal Alpine Winter World.
The quality of Snow Surface preparation at Tremblant extends to all
sectors and this shot of Toboggan, Versant Soleil, has all the experienced
Skier/Boarder needs to know that. Seamless wall to wall coverage,
not a visible flaw anywhere. Top to Bottom, side to side we found Soleil
perfectly fun!
As close to perfect as can probably found at any Ski Resort, P'tit
Bonheur, on Tremblant's North Side has been immaculate since
the day it opened. This run should be entered into the record books
for highest degree of surface consistency in the known World.
All these pictures are big "Winter" pictures, and that is a critically
important quality to have right now when so many more Southerly
Ski Resort areas are experiencing heat, rain and not very
winter like weather. Everyone at Tremblant right now needs to
appreciate the great good fortune we are blessed with. Near term
Tremblant Trip Planners can take some comfort that provided the
Weather continues to happen as forecast, Tremblant conditions
hold every promise of being stable "winter" for the rest of the month.

91(*) Open Trails on the Snowy Wintery White very Beautiful
Slopes of Tremblant.
We've been saving this pic. for today...
Happy Valentine's Day!
What a happy co-incidence that todays conditions are looking
almost exactly like the pic. above, with one big exception....
There's more snow now than there was when it was taken last week.
Namely, 27 CM's of fresh, beautiful white winter snow, carefully
packed and groomed into some of the smoothest, fastest, most
seamless surfaces of the season that are going to make today...
A Sweetheart of a day!
With Equipment that's in good tune...
Tremblant is in excellent, pure winter condition.
If you have complaints about icy spots, there are a few, you may be...
- a beginner....
- not have tuned, sharp edges...
- did not ski/board the North
- running metal Park features that instantly dull edges
- whatever other excuses you can dream up...
For all the rest of us Tremblant fans....
Carve This!
Look At Tremblant This Way....
Very Close to Perfect!
Above: From top to bottom, Versant Nord, the North Side, was getting
these huge quarter-sized snowflakes coming down yesterday afternoon,
often with almost white-out intensity.
The Skiing was Heavenly.... and it will be all of that and more today.
Today's Weather:
Just below freezing... good.... may break into "+" 1 degree C at South
Resort Base, but with no precipitation and under partially sunny sky.
We can live with that....
The winds are quite light, and from the Sou-West, coming over the Summit
from Soleil Sector. We predict the immaculate surfaces may not be affected
at all.
Very, Very, Super Easy Winter Day....
Exceptional Conditions ...
Go, Go, Go!
