That's how it feels Skiing or Boarding at Tremblant right now.
The weekend crowds are all back at work or school and those of us who are fortunate enough to be skiing Tremblant have the whole place to ourselves.
Go anywhere, Great Carving, Super Surface Conditions, no lift lines, a Winter Sports Dream.
Actually, it seems like there is a pretty good mid-week group, there are lots of people taking lessons, lots of smiling faces at lunch, but when you have a Mountain the size of Tremblant, even a good crowd is very efficiently transported by the extensive lift network, so it just feels like your own private club as you Ski or Board right up to the lift, get right on, no waiting, just barely time to catch your breath before the next run.
Here we are too, in the last week of February, already... if you're thinking about catching a bit of winter while it is still here, now is the time to do it!
We have Beautiful Mid-Winter Conditions! 45cm, or 18 inches of fresh snow in the last week have restored our surfaces to the best levels we've seen in a long time.
Our conditions, particularly in terms of coverage, are far above the 10 year average, so the Mountain has total accessibility with consistent quality that allows you to look like a star where ever you go.
The dry, grippy quality of the snow we have now really means you can get a great edge set for maximum carving fun.
The temps will be rising to a very easy-9c by around noon and under Sunny Skies, so it is going to be another Photo Opportunity Day. See if you can catch the sparkle of the Sunshine in the white, snow covered branches of the trees.
