3 really nice winter days in a row.
Perhaps a little "Cooler" in St.Jovite than we might like at -25C
this A.M., but We think that with all the energy in the sun today,
it could once again end up warmer than the Weather Networks
projected high of -8C.
Certainly, if you find a quiet spot in the sun trail-side, out of any
wind, you will be able to catch enough rays to put some colour in
your cheeks!
You also know there is lots of energy in the sun when your favourite
lift attendants have sunburned noses!
Where the sun can really get to the surface today, we should see a
softening of the top layers. Where ever that occurs there will be a
fantastic grip level so you will be able to dig into your turns for
maximum carving fun. Just watch out for any icy patches along
the way that could be hiding underneath. That means you should
use caution, with regard to speed, when you are ripping around
new territory that you have not travelled on yet today.
We have 77 open trails this A.M. and that could change as conditions
get better with the sun and traffic, so be prepared to explore the
Mountain today to find the best terrain and any newly opened areas
that could be fun as well.
