At this point there is no preliminary Tomorrow Data, so hard to
tell what the Open Trail List might look like. We don't think it will
be any less than today's eventual 72.
The possibility exists that with the modest rise in the temps,
Soleil may be able to be Open... if they post it later on, we'll add it here.

Air Speed, and we're not just talking about the wind either.
"Air Speed" includes your relative velocity as you descend
on any Open Trail, or ride up on any open lift. If you're cruising/moving
at any speed at all, Wind Chill is going to put your exterior system
of Layers to the test today.
(Please Note: we say above "open lift", as in Un-covered, exposed,
as opposed to the Gondola where up to 8 passengers in a closed space
can actually make heat. That makes Gondola Circuits a good option
for today.)
Average cruising speed might be from 15 to 25 KMPH, so
take a look at this chart below to get an idea of what temp
levels you can be exposed to at -32 C, with "Air Speed' factored in.

The Skiing and Boarding will be very very fine ....
if you can successfully cope with the Cold.
It's not all that hard to do either. Here's a Sample Low-Buck Adaptation
we started doing years ago that works like a charm....
Imagine you've got your best layers on and you're still finding it
cold. Experience has shown you that there may only be 4 or 5 days
a season when this occurs because within the average cold low temp
range, your gear works well at keeping you functionally warm enough
to still enjoy even very cold days.
Went to the "Play It Again" Secondhand Sporting Goods Store,
got a pristine secondhand Columbia Breathable, Windproof, Very
Light-weight and pocket packable Shell ... 2 X's larger than we
normally wear... @XL and put that on over our good Medium Sized
Parka that normally keeps us warm down to Mid-Minus 20's C, and...
Presto.... warm again for something like,
about(cant remember exactly) $35.00 Bucks.
Too Easy.... feel a bit like the Michelin Man, but we're out there anyway!

LOOK AT THIS:
ALGONQUIN, Fabrication de neige/Snowmaking.
Nice! Not sure where along its path, but we appreciate
all the Snowmaking support Algonquin can have.
Algonquin has a lower run-out to the Soleil Quad Chair
and there can be rocky debris there so that might be one
possibility for the snowmaking. The other possibilities
could be any number of portions along its length that
might have natural Snow that could be thin and/or narrow
due to the way Mother Nature and the wind may have left it
less than ideal.
