It looks like the warm is gunna be more warm than forecast.
There's a very high probability of significant Base Level Rain and
Freezing Rain.
With a daytime high at +5, there's a very slender change the Summit could stay
at or just below freezing, but probably not, and way too early to tell now anyway.
It's not much of a "Silver Lining" in these clouds, but we're only
looking at about 9 or 10 hours, so at least it's going to be brief.
As a result, we think the impact will be very little in terms of the base,
but the trees will probably lose much of their Nice White.

Very Beautiful Today...
But....
There Are Many, Many Wild Cards In The Weather
Over The Next 36 Hours.
All those Wild Cards are why we say "a Minimum 1 day of Winter", above.
Basically, there is another warm band of Freezing Rain crossing over
the lower Great Lakes from West to East moving right down the
middle of the St. Lawrence River Valley, and the Weather Models,
as good as Humans can make them, are showing a 100 Kilometre
NORTHERN shift in the forecast line of the Freezing Rain zone from
Yesterday at this time.
100 Kilometre's over the face of Plant Earth is minuscule.
Consequently, if the projections are off, if Mother Nature decides to swerve,
if, if, if.... we could see either a Major Freezing Rain event, at least at Base
levels, or a Major Winter Snow event.
The Wild Card part, is the current swerve North that is off trajectory from
the systems previous path, could happen again, EITHER WAY, i.e. north
or south, which could dramatically alter the Snow/Rain outcome.
Additional Local Wild Cards include, but are not limited to, Elevation
differentials of colder temps higher up which could mean rain at base,
snow on the Mountain. ... and ... that's not even taking into account
the Wind Wild Card that could do who knows what to the local/regional
possibilities.
This system is going to effect the entire North-East portion of
the North American Continent from Hudson's Bay to as far South
as Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.
Above the fine line will be Snow, below the fine line will be rain.
The Fine Line itself will be the Freezing Rain that about 40 Million people
who live within the reach of the storm's potential Progress/pathways are
so worried about.
