102/102(*) Open Trails. Statistical/Season Data Point - First 100% Open Day at #Tremblant .
Conditions are so good that we think the entire Tremblant Info.Ski Team would
join together to say with one united voice...
Follow The Jet Stream!!!
Follow The Jet Stream, And...
Go To Tremblant!!!
It is a very intentional coincidence that the actual, global, Jet Stream
does indeed frequently lead directly to Tremblant, bringing along all
the very best of “Winter”. Our light-hearted connection with the two
pic’s above is an both an acknowledgement, and a promotion of all
these favourable qualities of Winter that Mother Nature delivers to
Tremblant via the Jet Stream every single season.
We have all of that today.
Weather Notes:
-1C is just about the ultimate User Friendly, yet “Winter” temp possible.
We actually sort-of hope it remains a bit overcast in order to shade the
slopes from too much Solar induced thermal energy. At this stage we
would like to see sustained Sub-Zero C over the trail network. That
may happen at cooler Mountain elevations?
Regardless, it’s easy, and big bonus...
the winds are indicated at a fraction of yesterday.

Conditions Notes:
The combination of rising temps and pre-existing base quality,
together with an additional Night-Shift of Mountain Crews efforts,
(including both regular and Winch-Groomed), could render one
of the escalating “Best Of Season, So-Far” days, today.
One of the very best examples of that is Versant Soleil, Trail # 95,
Algonquin. We have been regularly featuring this way, way underused
and vastly under-appreciated trail as a prime example of Multi-Skill Level
use and enjoyment. It is super-fine, excellent, over the top, wonderful,
and any other positive expression of descriptive writing, all of which
do not come close to the actual level of personal fulfilment of Skiing
it with the Skills you have to bring out its magnificent rolling descent
topography.

The fullness of Winter Excellence is upon us and if you can be here,
you’d be crazy to miss even a single day.

If you can plan any discretionary Tremblant Ski days,
you really need to prioritize them ASAP. Great conditions
are a joy to be on and the Mountain is very nicely maturing
to the fullness of Winter on this first day of 100% Open!
