We would call these valley cloud formations(shown above and below), being durable
to this extent of hours, as quite remarkable. We think some of it may be attributed to
very low to no wind not having enough force to move it off?

Weather Notes:

Partial Sunny, at least to start with. Another super-easy, super photogenic
early Winter day, in what appears to be a continuing string of easy days at Tremblant.

A major component of “Easy” for today, our very favourite element of functional
co-factors... very low to no wind speed. Standing in safe places, there will be
lee-side wind sheltered spots where you will feel solar energy within a minute.
That should carry on up until about noon or so. With the indicated S/E wind
direction, it will be crossing the Summit from the Duncan Quad, over towards
the TGV Quad, but for the most part, it should be barely noticeable.

Conditions Notes:

An absolutely beautiful day of very highly refined grooming
after a continuously uninterrupted series of days without
thermal intrusions.

This is why you choose Tremblant. From a regional standpoint,
when temps are so close to Zero C, The natural advantages of
Northerly Latitude tend to put you on the correct side of the
temp scale more often. The direct benefit is that Mountain
Crews here can focus on daily incremental improvements in
scope and quality without having to mitigate icy bits so much.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
