The Weather Is The News.
“The Messiest Winter Storm Of The Season???”(#)
Weather Notes:
Unfortunately for a day, this one fits squarely into the category of,
and fully within the clinical definition of... “Yucky”.

Conditions Notes:
What can we say... for a day, wet Spring Skiing conditions everywhere
open, which for today is only Versant Sud/South, and Versant Nord/North,
as Soleil and Edge sectors are off-line due to weather as noted in the
Official report copy below.
One semi-favourable possibility is that the wetness should not
permeate into the surfaces too far because of the thermal barrier
generated by over a month of down to -30’sC overnight lows.
This residual cold in the base has not gone anywhere, yet, and
in our opinion, one day of warm/wet will not even come close
to significantly touching it. We are predicting that whatever
Spring-like conditions should therefore be very shallow.
Obviously, the scenario for tomorrow will be far more complex
with temps dropping and a major snow storm of projected
accumulations up to 30cm’s. Conditions will favour Expert
skills, but at the same time, Mountain Crews typically apply
extra care and attention to Nansen and P’tit Bonheur as
reliable Beginner terrain as well.
Please Note: We are not sure why the Official Snow Report
indicates -14 C and sunny because that is not the actual case.
It is close to pea-soup foggy, rainy and +5 C. Evidently there is
a data entry glitch somewhere and it appears that could be a
carry-over data field from yesterday’s report.
Please Also Note: On any day of potentially variable conditions
in either visibility or surface challenge, as well as possible trail
up/down availability, consultations with the Info. Ski Crews
are absolutely the very best insights for optimizing your day at
Tremblant. Whether you are an experienced Tremblant regular,
or a new Tremblant guest, up-to-the-minute radio controlled
intel can be a big, big asset during adverse weather events.
