96/96(*) Open Trails on the Getting New Snowfall Today Slopes At #Tremblant .
A Weather System Moving in a basically Northerly direction should
bring somewhere around 15-20cm’s of New Snow to Tremblant today.
(It could be More, It could Be Less...
However, based on current factors, the
probability is “More” for reasons outlined below(#).)
We think it’s going to look like this for a while!
The Amounts that fall on the Mountain Alpine Snow Sports Trail Network
could vary from the Regional Ground Level amounts, and there is some
probability that variation could be significantly more.
What the Weather Models do not show(#) is the effect that moving
air masses containing or generating Snowfall have, as they are
forced upward by the topographical rise of the Mountains Elevation.
Observational Experience shows that while Regional Ground levels
are well represented by Weather models, the vertical rise of Tremblant’s
conical mass frequently generates higher natural Snowfall production,
or as we proved last week, generates Snowfall production when Sud,
South, base levels can get rain.
Of Course... the variation is a “Wild Card”, but because history shows
favourable odds of “More”, we are at least hopeful we could see that
potential today.
Everything on this page has really big potential
for all Near-term Tremblant Ski/Board Fan Planning.
