102/102(*) Open Trails on the Cool, Sunny, Snow-White Slopes of #Tremblant .

---------- Special Weather Advisory -------------

Heavy Snowfall Warning
Re: Ontario Spring Break Travellers and all other
Tremblant regional commuters.
Weekend Travel/Weather Alert Attached Below.

Ton’s Of Soleil Over Soleil!

Cool again to start with, but very quickly rising to forecast -4C,
so ultimately, an exquisitely perfect, all-winter, all-day,
super-sunny, snow-white, easy high performance Tremblant day!

Weather Notes:

More of the below-forecast pattern of early morning low temp’s,
but rapidly rising to very easy, especially with super-sunny!

We feel that with the position of the sun at its apex in todays
sky, there is some possibility the temps could go higher than
forecast, and that could result in solar softened surfaces where
direct exposure to rays is focused over afternoon hours.

Here We Go Again...

Another very cool start not reflected in applicable forecast models...

We see one of our main utility purposes is for regional
Tremblant Fans who are planning to Ski/Board Tremblant
“Tomorrow” to be able to see trends in evolving conditions.
In that regard we would always want to be a source of
accurate info., so when we see such a regular occurrence
of forecast-to-actual difference, we feel it is necessary to
identify any element that could affect your adequate preparation.
We will attempt to get an explanation, but in the mean-time,
bring extra layers.

If this temp differential was occurring with proportionally
similar spreads at -15C or -10C, we would not be nearly
so concerned, however at an actual of -25C, these numbers
matter, especially if you’re packing for young children. So,
one of the values of following trends with Tremblant360 is
a larger, broader, overall perspective which we hope will
allow you to optimize your time on these excellent surface
conditions.

Conditions Notes:

Notwithstanding the First Tracks coolness, the Ski/Board
conditions are clinically excellent. Period.

496cm’s/16.25 feet of season-to-date accumulation
without any significant thermal interference for weeks
on end means there are both extraordinary levels of
retention and refinement in the entire range of open
terrain, and across all skill levels of trail ratings.

All things considered, where we’ve been,
where things are headed...

It’s very simple, we’re at the peak of winter conditions for this season.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Archive, Search Reports by Date: Index: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
