It’s hard to imagine a better Christmas Gift for a Skiing Family than this.
Tremblant has very a reliable White Christmas history
and this year is going to be a classic example. The file
shot you see above is the last panoramic Mountain Wide
Angle we have from 4 days ago, but with a few minor
exceptions in the visible snowmaking zones, it’s pretty
much what we’re forecasting you’ll have all day here today.
It’s also pretty much what you can expect every, and any
Christmas you are lucky enough to share this magic with
your family here.
Due to the fact that this journal is a chronological archive of
daily Tremblant conditions, ultimately, the future views of
this date will far exceed todays views. For that very reason
we want to say to all future readers here researching dates
around the Christmas/New Years Holiday period, you will
never regret a Family Ski/Board Holiday you book in August,
September, October, etc., Tremblant has one of the most reliable
White Christmas’s due to it’s Northerly Latitude that on average,
has had significant measurable natural Snowfall accumulations
for a month by now.
But...
If the concept of a “White Christmas” is such a beautiful thing, it is
only the beginning of the full story of the Holidays at Tremblant.
It is after all a Ski Resort, so because of the level of surface quality over
the scope of the seasons start in coverage, what you are going to find by
now is a World Class Alpine Snow Sports Trail Network that has typically
reached a broad level of excellence in groomed refinement by the time
of the Christmas Holidays. In other words...
The Skiing Is Fantastic!
Weather Notes:
This is a very easy forecast for today and the foreseeable future.
With the exception of a very minor blip for one day(**12/27),
the two week long range shows not only mild sub-zero’s, but
substantial natural snowfall. As a consequence of the combination
of blown snow added in, we think there is at least some possibility
of getting close to, if not fully opened within this forecast period.
(**12/27)At the indicated +2C at Sud/South Base levels, this
could be all snow over usually -4C cooler Mountain Elevations.
