Jump Into The “Bundle Up Zone”, again...

Re Above: If you ride up the Flying Mile Quad from the Resort
base, and go to the right side exit at the top, you can see across
to the lower “Alpine” trail, lower portion, where the park is located.
If we have the time, we like to get the telephoto set up to see if
we might be lucky enough to catch anyone in the air. This above is
what you get with a 60 X optical zoom. The best part might be the
shadow on a sunny day that really helps scale the big air that’s
possible off these features.
Weather Notes:
Preliminary/Early Bird 3:10 A.M. Weather Detail:
Primary Weather Data:
Please Note: this is a classic example of the differences
that can occur between forecast and actual within a very
short time span. The -22C forecast at 3:00 A.M for 8:00 A.M
is a lot different than the actual -28C recorded in the dark
grey data block within the graphic below. Another reason we
use “The Big “if...”.
The reason we are including this first weather supplement
below is that it is the only potential glitch in the whole week.
2.14.22.Supplemental.Weather.Forecast.Data.a.jpg
Repeat From Yesterday As Applicable Today:
A few words on the this additional supplementary weather data
included below: The top left graphic forecast for temp anomalies
for the month of February was issued on 2.2.2022. It shows
an average mean temp for Feb. for the region including Tremblant
to be slightly above average. This would have been based on
all available predictive factors at the time. Considering averages
are the divided computation between all highs and lows, and based
on the actual history of the month so far, plus the projected
balance of the month shown above in the 14 day forecast
model, we think this may be incorrect. The variable is of
course if the actual future becomes a lot warmer than now
forecast. It will be interesting to see how it develops, but we
would actually favour a cooler model for all the desirable
benefits in long term sustained base durability and quality
into the spring season. If you look at the lower right side
graphic, you can see that Tremblant is not far away from
the dividing line between the cool polar influence and the
warm East Coast/Atlantic Ocean influences, so ultimately,
in our opinion, it will likely be potential deflections in the
Jet Stream, up/down, that determine the outcomes.
Conditions Notes:
If you “Bundle Up” ... again... Fantastic!
This is in the lower registers of the best high
performance temp ranges for groomed speed
and glide.
It is simultaneously in the feathery light zone
of super-chilled, super-dry Sous Bois/Hors Piste
and Un-Groomed.
“Bundle Up” and have fun!

If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.
When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
(

First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)
