Thumbs Up Forecast For The Easiest Day Of This Week!
Sunny, Almost Warm, And... The Biggest Open Trail Count Of The New Season!

We were stopped trail-side to grab this sample of ongoing
Summit level snowmaking when a local friend skied into the
frame and gave us a spontaneous “Thumbs Up”. Very glad
to have it as a legitimate summary of overall early season
conditions. We agree!
Weather Notes:
Nice!

Here are the initial forecast details:
Conditions Notes:
In all normal chronological sequences, every passing day
of stable Sub-Zero C temps produces elevated levels of
grooming refinements, so we expect today to be a text-book
example of that concept.
We are overjoyed to see Nansen Bas/Lower, back on the
Official Open list as a Progressive opening, so look for that
to clear very early in the day.
We are very happy to be wrong on our theory yesterday,
at least specifically with regard to Versant Sud/South Side
Trail # 18, McCulloch, which is showing as a “Progressive”
opening this morning, so obviously it is in a fully finished
groomed state. Due to the fact that the theory was based
on previous historical observations, we stand by it when
or where future occurrences may suggest its application.
Please Note: @ 6:29 A.M. There is a glitch in the Official PDF
display this morning and we are going to attempt to cut and paste
the fragments into the conventional format. To follow shortly.
