A Very Beautiful, And Very Useful
New Layer Of Fresh Snowfall.

Weather Notes:
We are very pleased to see a positive increase in
natural snowfall forecast potential over the 14 day
long range outlook. This is exactly the kind of winter
forecast profile we like to see, reliable sub-zero C’s
predictable over cooler Mountain elevations and a
nice mix of sun and snow!
Plan accordingly Tremblant Fans!

Conditions Notes:
In the groomed, it all begins with smooth, fine corduroy,
however it is the last weekend of the “Holidays” for today
and tomorrow, so there is a high probability of busy traffic.
The new snowfall will be a meaningful contribution to the
net effect of initial conditions, but the traffic bit will be the
wild card in the evolving patterns of use through the day.
For these reasons there will continue to be a beneficial
result in your skiing with basic technical elements of
edging, speed regulation, stopping and contour/bump
navigation with a well centred, low and compact stance
that allows surface irregularities to be easily absorbed
by the shock-absorber action of lower body angulation.
The most sensitive category of trails continues to be
the Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades/Un-Groomed, where
we’ve seen trail availability with “On/Off/On/Off” open’s
over the course of sequential days. At least Bump Fan’s
have had Versant Nord/North Side trail # 80, Windigo
on the open list, but it may be a case of needing a wee
bit more new snow before we see more re-open’s in
the bush zones.
