Very fine conditions across all ranges of skill levels
and also across all categories of trail types, however
the overall quality favour still exists within the groomed
array while the Sous Bois group remains on a more
case-by-case, individualistic and/or situational basis.

Weather Notes:

Today warm, tomorrow chilly...

Today may also seem occasionally a bit “Breezy”,
however the winds are indicated as Westerly, so
going up the TGV they’ll be at your back and it
may even feel like you’re riding in a little bubble
of calm.

Advance Travel Planning Weather Notice:

A review of the 14 day long range outlook above, shows we
are moving into an extended period of authentic winter temp
ranges. Travellers planning on attendance over the near
term will want to ensure their cold weather garment
inventory is confirmed, however... If you do not have
everything you need, do not worry because you can
get anything you need to function through any cool
temp ranges when you get here. The shops at Tremblant
supply all the local Pro’s who need to function no matter
how cool it gets and you can find the very same support
if you need it, from the moment you arrive.

Conditions Notes:

In the freshly groomed categories:

Overnight grooming refinements combined with additional
snowfall should be fairly predictable in an incrementally
upgraded overall level of finishing across all skill levels
of freshly machined trails.

In the Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed categories:

Prevailing a la carte scenario with variable, individualistic conditions
where there are wide ranging degrees of quality from very fine to raw.

As only one example of the open piste, Un-Groomed group...
We have received genuine, authentic, Expert feedback that
we would consider to be in the very fine range of natural mogul
runs with a specific “No icy bits” applied directly to Versant Nord/North
side trail # 78, Fuddle-Duddle, Haut/Upper, as the separate and
distinct un-groomed portion of this trail.

Below is a T360 fan submitted pic that we think has a
beautiful composition and very well illustrates the current
qualities of trail # 78.

In the adjacent Versant Nord/North Side trail # 80 Windigo, the same
legitimate Experts assessment on a first seasonal tracks experience
is “Better than expected with very good conditions and no real hazards
beyond a few odd twigs.” Coverage in this zone is rated at very good
and reportedly there are zero rocky bits so it is highly recommended
for those who appreciate a high quality natural Sous Bois descent.

The bottom line in the Sous Bois group is that all
initial explorations should be undertaken with
lower speeds and cautious line of sight stopping
and directional change capacity. You need to confirm
safety and risk first, prior to ripping around within
the various open zones but for those willing to
patiently explore there is select excellence.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.
