Sunny Starts At Tremblant...
Another One Of These?

If it happens, the early morning valley cloud usually burns off quite quickly
as the sun begins to work, so for those first tracks, early risers, this scene
above from 2 days ago could be a repeat. Are you there for it?
Great Trail Development News To Start With....
Expo Bas/Lower OPEN!
Expo Haut/Upper With Initial Rough-Cut Grooming!
Cossak OPEN!!!
Versant Nord/North Side Expo Fans have been waiting for weeks
for this news and its safe to say that after a long look at the
big bumps while riding up the Expo Quad, today is going to
show products of the huge grooming effort necessary to render
out what we think should be one of the highest quality Expo
openings in history. In the mean-time, you’ve got Cossak to
Expo Bas/Lower today.
Let’s call this “Before”...

Weather Notes:
Easy winter Sunday with our very favourite forecast component...
Low Wind Speed For Today.
Any winter weather, but especially cool ambient temps
are way, way easier with low to no wind.
Conditions Notes:
Generally:
It’s a Weekend Sunday with great weather... it could be busy.
If it is busy, please, be patient in the lines and out on the
trails, scan, scan, scan for others before making sudden
moves.
The unknown wild cards include traffic volume which
we think will peak between 11:00 A.M. and 1:30 P.M.
after which Sunday typically, but not always, sees a
dramatic afternoon reduction as Rat Racers head for
the exits and back home to “Theirville”.
In The Groomed:
Incrementally refined upgrades across all skill levels
where the overall level of quality is very high and the
naturally occurring slick or icy bits get reduced in
both number and size.
Depending on the intensity of the morning through noon
traffic, we think most of the wear factors will be evident
by 1:00 P.M.
In The Sous Bois/Hors Piste/Glades and Un-Groomed:
See previous days as carry-over in this group for more
detail, but generally good to very fine early season
accumulations with moderate wear factors.
