T360 Apres Ski...

"A Little Bird" Shares With Us.....

Scroll down to "reply" for this very useful insight.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

It's A Brand New Snowy Day At Tremblant!

(page under construction, lots more info/pic's to follow.
Click on "refresh" as necessary, but we're going to try
to "connect the dot's" with additional content on
the Snow Making efforts as they relate to additional
open terrain in the close 10 day future.)

Evidently, still snowing...
--------------------------------------------------

3(*) Open trails on the newly chilled Summit
of Tremblant!

We've still got our old friend, P'tit Bonheur to Ski or Board today.
It will be in fine shape, but you will need fresh, sharp
edges to get optimum performance due to the quick drop
in temps from yesterday morning and the resulting freeze
of previously high moisture content Corn Snow that we've
been Skiing/Boarding for the last 4 days or so.

Yer Gunna Need Them Sharp Edges Today!

Well Below Sub-Zero Temps will help to put Tremblant
back on target for additional Open Terrain including
massive amounts of work necessary to get prepared
for 24 Hour Children's Charity Fundraiser.

Snow Making At Full Blast On:
South:
La Crete
Nansen
Nansen Haut (upper)
Alpine Haut (upper)
Beauvallon Haut (upper)
Belvedere
Roy Scott
Johannsen
Biere-en-bas
Onesime

Excellent news to see this full snowmaking list that
focuses on the paths necessary to support the 24 Hour
event coming next week.

Snow Making On North:
Lowell Thomas Haut (upper)
Rope Tow
P'tit Bonheur

This is like music to our ears because having "Rope Tow"
and "Lowell Thomas Haut" (upper) on the list
signifies substantial confidence on the part of Mountain Operations
that the North Park/Upper Lowell Thomas to La Traverse and
down to the Lowell Thomas Triple chair, may be coming on-line soon.

Connecting the dots...
Both of the following pic's are less than 48 hours old.

By putting the snow guns on Rope Tow, Mountain Operations
can "Connect The Dots" in the form of the pre-existing
"Big Bumps" of blown snow inventory to efficiently hook
up "La Traverse" to the North's Open Terrain.
A simple and effective strategy.

(Sorry for foggy, but was semi-snowy too)

---------- Upcoming Tremblant Trip Planners Advisory:--------------

We anticipate that "WEATHER PERMITTING"...
Monday, Dec. 10th, 2011, will be the first full
regular customer access to "Top to Bottom"
South Side Tremblant Skiing/Boarding.

Why Is That Important???

Because....

The quality of preparation that Mountain Crews put in to
building a "Highway-like" track for North Americas Single
Largest Ski Area Children's Charity Fundraiser... is exceptional.

When the event is over, the ropes come down and
"weather permitting" etc., etc., .....

...regular people who are just out for a great day of
Alpine Skiing or Snowboarding, get to use some of
the finest Alpine surfaces possible at this time of year.

Naturally, there's not as much as mature mid-winter,
but what-ever there is, will be in very excellent condition
for some solid pre-Christmas Tremblant Skiing/Boarding.

If Possible, you should plan as much time off for some
Tremblant days between the 12th and Christmas.

The traffic will be light during week days, weekends are
less predictable and very much affected by the weather too.
Non-the-less, the joy of getting out onto the Pre-Christmas
Tremblant slopes for vigorous exercise, fresh air, and beautifully
prepared surfaces is a well documented, therapeutically beneficial
component of any human fitness and health program.

Add in the Fairy Tale Charm of the warmly Christmas decorated
Resort Village and you've pretty much got your own total "Tremblant
Postcard" experience.

This has been a proven combination since 1938.

:) Bring Back The Memories... Research Future Visits...
If you would like to look up dates you visited Tremblant, or you
want to research days/weeks/months to visit, you can sample what
they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

GoTo: Winter Daily Reports, Index/Archive: http://tinyurl.com/yktelmu

When reviewing dates from any past, numbered, archived index pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.

There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.

( If you "Bookmark" the link above, it will always take you to the
First index page with the latest posts. That gives you an immediate,
current to 25 day past, review scroll of Winter Alpine Conditions by
consecutive date.)

A little birdie told me that Beauchemin Haut and Beauvallon Haut could be open this week-end as well as the Nansen Haut and P'tit Bonheur. :D
