86(*) Open Trails on the Wintery 4 sides
of the quite snowy terrain of Tremblant.
Tremblant au Naturel... The Snow hasn't gone anywhere so seems evident that the
Open Trail Count is down a few for selective enhancement.
This maintenance includes Snowmaking, and that is directly
correlated to the Trail and Grooming status report below,
as well as the Archived screenshot of Tremblant's Mountain
Operations statement below.
There are two major sectors off-line, Nansen and Mi-Chemin
down to the TGV on the South side, and pretty much the
whole Geant/Superieur sector on the North. That part of the
North also has a lot of "progressive" or gradual openings.
Yesterday, Mountain Operations published a Summary of
the year-to-date as well as their immediate plans.
We are including a Screenshot for archival purposes.
It's a "Snowy" Job, But Somebody's Gotta' Do It!
With the season's Official extension to April 15th, this strategic
use of time and snowmaking resources is expected to ensure
the durability and quality of Tremblant's Alpine surfaces right
through to the last hour of the last day.
Basically, a minor inconvenience now will yield a huge benefit later on.
We support that investment for the perfectly sensible approach
it represents.

they look like historically, month by month, year by year.

When reviewing dates from any of the past, numbered, archived pages,
you can use the "Previous Topic" or "Next Topic" buttons, located
screen far right, in upper date/message bar to scroll through sequential
dates, or use your browsers "back" button to stay on the selected index
page for non-sequential date reviews in either forward or reverse order.
There are approximately 6, 25 day Index pages per season.
( If You
